Matthew is engaged, resilient, introspective, and critically aware
He is a first-year seminarian at Earlham School of Religion, the oldest Quaker seminary in the United States. Matthew is completing coursework in spiritual formation, public ministry, pastoral care, and theological reflection.
Matthew worked for the Federal Bureau of Investigation as both a part-year and full-time permanent employee from 1995 to 2025. He rose through the ranks from an entry-level clerk to a senior leadership position. Matthew thrived in diverse environments in the field, overseas, and at headquarters elements. He developed strong skills in leadership, mentorship, strategic thinking, writing, and briefing.
